At the core of my practice lies a pursuit of equilibrium between tangible and intangible forces, between tangible and intangible boundaries. Each piece serves as a visual distillation—an endeavor to maintain balance amidst flux.
This body of work originated from a more contemplative inquiry—unusual for my work— and resulted in this a series titled “Contemplation”. A desire to capture the lingering resonance of gazing through trees as darkness envelops, while holding onto the final rays of sunlight resulted in “Night Watch” and “Last Light”. The horizontal bands that traverse the image both stabilize and divide—simultaneously serving as a barrier and anchor, a distance and a hum—suspended between chaos and tranquility. Other works within this body continue my dialogue with the physical world, documenting shifts in perception and memory.
